Root down
Foot and ankle activation, then standing warm-ups that wake up the arches and calves.
Signature Class · 04
One leg, one breath, one point of focus. Balancing poses train the small stabilising muscles — and the far more useful skill of staying calm while wobbling.
Edwin builds from the ground up: ankle warm-ups, then tree, warrior three, eagle and dancer poses, each taught in three stages from wall-supported to free-standing. Core work is woven between balances so the middle stays strong.
Falling is part of the curriculum — the wall, the blocks and your own good humour are always within reach. Runners, skiers and anyone over fifty will feel the difference on stairs within a month.

2
Four balancing families, each in three stages. Stay where you wobble with a smile — that's the workout.
3
Seated cool-down, hip release and a slow savasana. Walk out steadier than you walked in.
Worried your balance is terrible? That just means you'll improve the fastest. Everyone starts somewhere — hello@amberleafyoga.com.
Book This ClassMore than okay — expected. The wall is always there, blocks catch you, and Edwin celebrates every wobble as training.
This class is one of the best things for ankle stability. Start at stage one with wall support and tell Edwin about any injury first.
Most students hold tree pose steadily within three weeks of twice-weekly practice. Dancer pose takes a little longer — and feels amazing when it lands.
